Biography

Jake signed from Dundee Violet. He became a regular in the side during the first half of 1946-47 but the arrival of new players curtailed his first team career and he played the remainder of the campaign in the reserves. He refused terms to re-sign in the summer of 1947 and was transfer listed, later joining East Fife.
