Biography

James was a former Dundee and Arbroath player who turned out for Dundee Hibs during the years of WW1 and in season 1919-20 in the (non-league) Eastern League campaign.

He was also in the Dundee Hibs side that took part in the semi-professional Central League in the following season but left the Club in May 1921, finishing his career at Forfar Athletic. He later became vice-president of Arboath Vics.
