Biography

Tom was one of the first players to join the newly formed Dundee Hibs in June 1909, and also became an office bearer with the club, holding the post of Treasurer in their maiden season. An enthusiastic swimmer, Tom also held the post of secretary with the Catholic Swimming Club in Dundee, holding regular galas at Dundee Public Baths.

A former goalkeeper with Dundee Harp and St Joseph's, registered as a player who, despite playing most of his career as a goalkeeper, occasionally played in outfield positions also. In his forties at the time of his signing, after season 1910-11 it is most likely that he retired.
