    Sean signed for United from Hedensford Town for a fee based on appearances. He was, however, restricted to playing mainly in the Under-21 side and went on loan to Portadown and Morton before joining Queen of the South for around £10,000 in March 2002

In six minutes McConalogue crossed from the right and it broke to youngster Sean O'Connor in the box who rammed the ball home from six yards to give United the lead for the first time in a league match this season. Heaney beat his man on the left and crossed for Craig Easton to head home.
