Biography

Starting his career with Club Brugge, where he collected two championship medals and a Belgian Cup winners medal, Tonny spent time out on loan with RWD Molenbeek and KSC Lokeren before signing for the latter in 1995.

He was signed by United in the summer of 1998 and made an appearance during the pre-season tour of Holland before making his competitive debut in the opening League match at Rugby Park. He spent just one season at Tannadice without managing to hold down a regular place, suffering with injuries during much of his time.

Following trials with Arbroath, Clyde and Ross County at the end of 1999, he returned to Belgium and had spells with Verbroedering Geel, Wetteren and KSK Maldegem before retiring in 2005.

  • Nothing wrong with the start to the new season as we dominated and twice had the ball in the net. Unfortunately, the linesman and then the referee ruled both were offside to dent our confidence.

  • Last Appearance - Ayr Utd 0 - 0 Dundee United

Another less than convincing cup performance, but thanks to Sieb Dijkstra's late penalty save from Andy Walker and two earlier saves, our luck in this competition held good.
