Having come through the youth ranks at Hull City, Conor had played for Carlisle United, Grimsby Town and Chesterfield on loan before arriving on a season long loan from KC Stadium to Tannadice in July 2014. His move immediately followed Andrew Robertson's transfer to Hull.
Having played in most games in his first six months at Tannadice, Conor returned to Hull City after former United favourite Paul Dixon returned in February 2015.
