Biography
Sid was with Norwich City. He joined United on a temporary transfer during WW2. When he was released by Norwich City in December 1941 and then became a signed United player, although he was with the Club for a very short time. He was also an accomplished amateur boxer and won the Midlands and District Lightweight Amateur title in Brechin on 24th January 1942. A month later he left the area, although United retained his registration until he was released in April 1946.
