Match report
Until Billy Dodds headed a surprise equaliser, United's first league victory of the season looked on the cards. Robbie Winters had earlier headed United into the lead after a bright start by the tangerines.
Although Aberdeen came into the game more after the break, a breezy finish by United left Aberdeen with Leighton to thank for saving a point as the keeper blocked an Andy McLaren shot with his feet.
