Match report
Ironically, Rangers hadn't created much in the opening half hour, but three self inflicted wounds meant there was no way back as Negri punished all three.
The Italian then added two more in the second half to equal Paul Sturrock's individual Premier scoring tally, achieved in November 1984 against Morton. Otherwise only Steven Pressley's penalty conversion and the display of Easton in midfield are worthy of mention.
