Dave made good progress down the right before releasing a cross, which Kevin Gallacher met perfectly to head stylishly past Money. Gathering confidence from this strike, the play throughout the side began to flow and a further goal followed when Ian Redford switched the play to Gary McGinnis on the left and his feed to Eamonn Bannon, opened the way for Eamonn to beat Money from around the twelve yard mark. Within a minute, Money was again retrieving the ball from the back of the net, when Kevin Gallacher picked out Iain Ferguson on the edge of the box and the newcomer wheeled to score with a low angled drive. That completed a fine victory from a match apparently heading towards stalemate.
