Match report
United's dreadful stan to the season continued as this latest reversal left us with just a single point after five league outings. Hibs victory foundations lay in some superb goalkeeping and a soft goal by Eric Scott. Willie Wilson had four magnificent first-half saves, with two, both from Lewis Thom free 'kicks, falling into the unbelievable category. To be fair, though, United never quite got their act together and Hibs deserved their victory thanks to a 15th minute lob from Eric Scott that deceived 'keeper Sandy Davie.
