The first goal had its origins in a Dave Narey free kick. His pass to Sturrock was turned inside by Milne to Billy Kirkwood whose drive whistled into the roof lot the net. L.A.S.K. got on level terms thanks to Max Hagmayr whose shot on the turn took just enough deflection off Maurice Malpas to beat Hamish McAlpine.
Stuart Beedie was blatantly pushed to the ground midway through the second half without punishment but a penalty award for a foul on Paul Sturrock by Dantlinger in the dying seconds allowed Eamonn Bannon to step up and score the winner from the spot.
