Match Report

Again we were at Pittodrie, but this time it was on League business and United and Dons served up a thriller. A dazzling surprise overhead kick by Paul Sturrock put us ahead in 11 minutes. Drew Jarvie nodded home the simplest of chances ten minutes later to equalise. Ally McLeod certainly waved the magic wand at half-time and Joe Harper and Billy Williamson put the Pittodrie men two ahead. But we didn't give up and Gordon Wallace reduced the arrears with a fine shot six minutes from time.
