Match report

Our Scottish Cup hopes were extinguished by Kilmamock who grabbed a late goal to signal an end of the stalemate. When Maurice Malpas limped off with a recurrence of his calf strain, you could sense foreboding. Killie started the second half in sprightly fashion, Sieb Dybtra tipping over a McIntyre shot. Even the introduction of Robbie Winters failed to ignite the team despite having the advantage of the infamous Easter Road slope in that second half.

The killer goal came after 176 minute of this marathon tie. From a corner on the left Henry at the far post cut the ball back to Jim McIntyre who strongly side-footedhome to carry Kilmarnock into their first Scottish Cup final for 37 years and leave United and their fans distraught.
