Dundee Hibs paid their first visit to Coatbridge since their promotion to the Scottish League. They were opposed by Albion Rovers. The game was all through devoid of any interest. In the second half the home lot spurred up, when Hemphill, the Rovers forward, got a nasty knock. The Hibs now had an opportunity of scoring, but it seemed as if the posts were yards too narrow, so miserable an attempt was made. Later the Rovers were not a bit better, and a spiritless game ended in a draw with no goals being scored.
